This is a planetary nebula. Originally one thought that this was a pre-planet, but today we know that it is infact an exploded star.

This picture was captured with a Canon EOS 350D DSLR through a 200mm f/5 Newton Telescope. Subexposures of 120 seconds were used. Ten exposures are added and darks are subtracted. The output is adjusted in PixInsight LE and cropped
